Lithuanian Food

Lithuanian food is (mildly put) very different from what we normally get her in Denmark. Don't think I have ever eaten as much puff-pastry or minced pork as I have in these past five days!
When It was well prepared I really enjoyed it - my stomach, well, thats a different story :-)

Oh wow, looks quite good though! But I can believe your body didn't always handle it very well!
That little plane in the next post is sooo tiny indeed, I would be a bit frightened as well!

By the way, have you been contacted yet in regards to the art exchange? You make 1 piece of art and in return get 36 pieces of art from all over the world! You interested?

it actually does look good. it might be your photo skills, or maybe puff pastry and minced pork really isn't that bad :)

i wonder where did you eat all of this? now not so many places serve that kind of food. i say its more soviet food. on other hand lithuanians eat lots of potatoes and pork, that is very true.

hmm, there's an awful lot of minced pork in denmark too (i was a little shocked when i first came - i expected it to be a fish country). :-) but you're right, not so much puff pastry.

i loved lithuania when we went a few years ago. it was charmingly undiscovered.
