Vegan Thomas??

My lovely friend Thomas, who came to celabrate Mathias tonight, bq of the school... He makes lovely things.. Music especially..
BTW; sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately, I have trying to transition to become a vegan, so that have been taking up A LOT of my time - Maybe there will come a new blog with food and all!!! :-) WHO KNOWS :-)

Today we are floating on a pink cloud!! My husband just got the news that he is accepted into the danish royal art academy in Copenhagen!!! So crazy!! We have been worrying sick, but finally today, the best news ever :-) HURRAY MATHIAS!!

MÁDARA

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!! My weekend was filled with work and family in law - but luckily it was all so lovely and relaxing :-)
I never really talk about products on the blog, but as some of you might have guessed I am a bit of an eco-nerd so just wanted to recomend this organic line of cosmetics I recently discovered in Lithuania - Its really lovely and also gets sold in Denmark.. Give it a go!

Coffe-warmer

I promise to show the shoulder pads as soon as they are attached to the t-shirt, maybe even with me doing a little model pose (no promises:-)
This is what I made today though.. A "coffe-warmer" I suppose you can call it - Made out of yarn i first knittet then crochet togeter..
Now I'll bring my warm coffe down to our back garden and enjoy while drawing on boring school stuf. I love how everything just seems easier in the spring time!

Went to Malmø yesterday for some pre-easter-fun.. Unfortunately promised M not to bring my camera - so I could focus more on him :-)
We visited the citys two contemporary art museeums (really lovely), and then we went shopping.. Bought this amazing peeler. It makes zuchinni and other stuff into spagetthi - gotta love it right?!?

Spring has finally arrived in Kolding! The sun is shining and the wind is warm (well almost warm: )! It coulden't be better!!

This is what i have been working on today.. I am working on a collection of womens beards, mustaches and pubic hair.. All croched and made of cotton yarn..

You wait and see, in a couple of months everybody will be wearing them :-)

Padlock-love

When you get married in Lithuania you buy a huge padlock and locks it to your nearest bridge-fence... It just seems so romantic.. I have no idea if they unlock the locks if they get a divorse - I hope not :-)

Everybody: Blogger works again! You guys were right - it was just messing up, now after about 3 days it's gone :-) HURRAY!
Lora: We ate the food at the art academie in Vilnius.. Yes it looks pretty east-block'ish, but then you should have seen the cantine at the place - it was so cool - pretty much like being send back in time :-)
Ulrikka and Linda: The penquin thing on the last pic was an ashtray...! A huge one!! Pretty weird designing an ashtray after a cute animal.. As if it was ment for children right? :-)
Oh and Martta thanks for the blogaward - I'll figure out something to writhe soon!!!

Lithuanian Food

Lithuanian food is (mildly put) very different from what we normally get her in Denmark. Don't think I have ever eaten as much puff-pastry or minced pork as I have in these past five days!
When It was well prepared I really enjoyed it - my stomach, well, thats a different story :-)

Flying from Warsaw to Vilnius I flew in the smallest plane I have ever seen..
Littrally thought I was gonna die!!

Polish sightseeing

Had the best romantic time in Poland - It was grey, rainfull and the weather was horible, good thing we lived at the most lovely hotel - but we walked a lot discovering the city - eating great (Probably not that polish:-) food...

Of we go!!!

Tomorrow M and I are of to Warsaw!! Then, after four days in Poland I'll hop on a plane to Vilnius, Lithuania were I meet up with my class mates - were we are going to visit the art-academy and factories that produces textiles.. I am getting so exited!! I'll be far away from everyday life and doing dishes - Hurray!

Hope I'll get loads of great pictures I can share!

You guys asked me what I eat when I try to be healthy like now..

I eat loads of fresh vegetables - Raw food is a big inspiration - so, as much as I can, I eat them without cooking..

I eat fresh fruit

Milkfree "ice-cream" with ricemilk and grated coconut (pic number 1)

I eat eegs, poultry, fish, millet, cornflour, seeds and chickpeas...

Pic numnber 3 and 4 is my lunch; grated beetroot and homemade parsley hummus..

The last pic is mashed dates, cocoa powder with coconut - yum yum

So If any of you guys have some interesting recepies or a food blog I have to see please lett me know..

I am eating a LOT of blueberries these days - It was time for my biannual detox.. I have been gluten, dairy and sugar free for over 2 weeks now.. Feels pretty god - not as hard as it could be..
