Baby-Sitting-Day

My sister inside the artist Pind piece at Overgaden yesterday.. We had the best time because there was so much to explorer.. Wasn't sure in the begining that she would be able to grasp it all (she is only 2,5), but we had a blast..
The room was completely green, so when you came out of the room again everything went all pink!!

I have been working at the restaurant quite a bit, so just needed to get out of Copenhagen. Luckely a friend og mine is working as a gardener at a beautiful old school in the southern part of Seeland.
I am normally not that much of a nature child, but the flowers were so lovely and i got a stomach ache from eating to many gooseberries, so that was just what i needed :-)

The phone

I bought one of these phones that promises a whole lot. One of the things it promissed was that it was a camera mobile.. So tried to take a pic of M outside yesterday.. And it turned out like this!!! What a waste of money :-) (or maybe Im just to stupid to set it properly:-)

Oh, and yes its shoes on his ears..

So still trying to detox, but I miss coffe!! Sugar,milk and gluten is'nt really the hard part.. It's coffe...
Bougt a cutting set for linoleum printing... Don't know if I just can make it at home, but i hope something good will turn out - I'll show if thats the case :-) When the weather is so bad in the summer I need projects..

Tiles

I Always get drawn to patterns and color ( Therefore I guess its pretty good I study textile design :-) and in Portugal they have the most beautiful tiles... I wish we would have more of those here in Denmark (or just some at least), especially when most of the time here it is pretty dull and grey.. I guess in my dream house some of the walls would be coverd in tiles :-)

Here after the holiday I try to do a bit of a detox-diet the best I can, but i miss the double espressos so much!!

We travelled from Lisboa down to a little town called Sesimbra. To get there we had to take a ferry.

We are back!

We are back after some fantastic days in Portugal. Just entered the appartment, and already, I feel like traveling more and exploring new places. Lisboa was a big positive surprise - very hip and with a lot of cool stuff, restaurants etc. The photos Is of a 'chestnut-kind-of-flower' I found wenn we were 'beach-ing' in a little town in the countryside south from Lisboa.....
I'll post some more pics from Portugal these next couple of days...

Off we go!

We have been visiting my fathers summerhouse for a couple of days, and the weather has been amazing. Loads of good food and paying around with my two-year-old sister.. It's been really nice. I ate a lot of 'Koldskål' (that's what's in the last photo, a danish dessert made out of buttermilk and vanilla)
Now we are off to Lissboa, Portugal..

The colours were amazing last night! It's just such a shame, that they are so bloddy hard to capture... Tonight M is cooking 'Lam windaloo'. Not the most summer-like dish, but Im looking very much forward to it anyhow.. Especially if it's hot, then i have a reason for drinking all the wheat-beer that I can : )

SUMMER!!!

Im all done with this years exams!! All went well.. So M and I celabrated with prosecco and grilled norway lobster last night, even though the weather was pretty chilly. Its supposed to be summer, we are in the middle of June!! when is it going the get warm???
But yes yes yeah, for not having to go to school for 2,5 months : )

Next stop Berlin

Tomorrow im going to Berlin with my school and Im looking so much forward to it. Before I started studying I lived a couple of years down there and I really miss it...

Hungover

Was drunk last night... Fell on my way home.. All by myself luckily.. So now Im drinking as much water as i can, and eating these smothie-ice-lollies i made yeasterday with fruits and raisins.. Hopefully they will cure me soon... The photo with the graze is for me to look at the next time I fell like drinking in Kolding... I am getting old!!!

Im doing a project about home-birth and the inspiration is this amazing old book from the seventies. I left out the pictures of the birth for people who think its a bit much : )
Its amazing how many people who have an oppinion about home-birth. Got so many fun and interesting stories so far in my research....

Second-Love

Second hand in Kolding is really good... The other day I found this blue glass ashtray ( the cigaretts is from my friend Jacob!! ) and some knifes and forks and payed 6 kr for all of it..!! Thats less than an €....!! I guess that's one of the very few good things about living in kolding..

Beer

Normally I have a 'no-alcohol'-policy during the week, otherwise Kolding would lead me to heavy-alcoholism :-) Today the sun was shining and I just could not resist.. Just great!!!
