NANA and MARTHA

Today I was a sitter for my sick little sister who turns 5 i eight days ( she mentioned it approx. 7 times )
Luckily she wasnt so sick that she couldent eat cake :-)

Artichokes and wine

Just came back from a night in my fathers summerhouse. How is it that all good summerhouses simply need really old old boardgames - this edition of Trivial Persuit was from 1985 ! - pretty neat and pretty difficult!
Anyway - the weather was amazing and we went swimming (and we are in October now!)

My future teapot

In a way I am sad that I found this teapot. Now I know that my life is not fullfilled before I own one.... It is made my Lars Rank and Tomas Lagermand and I have already started saving up money for it! Well actually thats a lie - I am horrible at saving up money - but it will definitely be om my wishlist for christmas :-)

Just started school again - and boy is it tough commuting from Copenhagen to Kolding!!! It Is really nice getting back in the design game - but my appartment renovation is stagnating... Just bought these in a chinese shop the other day to cher up the kitchen. It's still is the only room in the appartment that's tollerable :-)

I am still all for the simple life!! My electric kettle is in trash now - replaced by this red pot and the little wonder on pic number two is my new toaster! Makes my life so much easier and it has such pretty aesthetics :-)

I am deeply in love with my new appartment! Now the walls in the kitchen are white! and to top that nice feature, I bougt this hot tub yesterday :-)
Since I don't have a bathroom ( only a toilett ) I had to be creative... I can attatch the hose to my kitchen sink and voila I have a hot tub :-)

The other day I meet one of my readers!! She works at a magazine and wanted to do somthing with Kålkællingerne.. Well any way - it was a first for me - and it was so nice! I know people follow my life and all, but suddenly there was a face to one of the 'hits' on the page :-)

Sarah Carlson: Man finder da sådan en hos en ejendomsmægler! Der er forbavsende mange af dem! Hemligheden er nemlig at kigge efter andel, de er meget mere raunchy end ejer :-)
Marian: Bare rolig jeg kommer til at dele så meget med jer - næsten til i brækker jer af bolig halløj :-)
Kongemor: Nej tror bloggen kommer til at bevare sit navn - man er vel lidt provins i hjertet stadig efter tre år i Kylling! Man kunne evt tilføje et "in the city" men det er som om man har hørt det et sted før ikke ;-)
Loulou: Tofu er hos min mor :-) det er hårdt, men det blir tilgengæld så fedt for os begge når lejligheden er klar at det er det værd ! Der kommer til at være en opgradering fra 30 til 54 kvm hun kan lege på! og så kommer hun til at være helt "lovligt" i ejendomskomplekset - har jo måtte ha hende hemligt i Kolding :-)

It's such a huge project - but I am taking one day at a time - and all ready the seven layers of wallpaper have been stripped down in the hallway and kitchen :-) It is crazy how they did handywork back in the days !!
BTW; A big thanks to Kitt who speend all day yeasterday helping me - despite her maybe somehow unpractical ballerina shoes :-)

La nouvelle vie

I BOUGHT AN APPARTMENT AND I AM BACK IN COPENHAGEN!!

It is in seriously bad shape - but it in an amazing neighborhood, two rooms and with a balcony so what more could I wish for :-) Sitting here right now feeling overwhelmed with all the stuff I need to get doing before it's inhabitable. All the wallpapers are from way before I was born. Not to mention the big wholes in the wall..
But boy am I happy :-)
